In a large 1,000 room Florida hotel, emergency overflows due to dirty and fouled condensate pans averaged three per day, well over a thousand per year. Two maintenance staff and one housekeeper were sent on each overflow for damage control. The result? Over $100,000 per year direct costs for the owner alone, not to mention occupant perception costs resulting in secondary income loss.
We resolved this loss entirely after thirteen years of being accepted as ‘normal’ by operating staff.
